This is the hand coloring process using Marshall's Oil Paints for photographs. This is the original process used to color photos in the 1800"s. This is a transparent oil paint or colored pencil. You can mix extenders w/ the paints.
I adore this process, I do practice this at home. I love the depth you can create w/ the paints or watercolors. This is my preferred way to process color photos.
