Artist's Biography – (50-75 words):

Before pursuing a career in photography, Karl Koenig worked in academia at Stanford and the University of New Mexico.  To learn more he studied lithography, silkscreen, and non-silver photography for a few years.  In 1990, Karl Koenig created a process called polychromatic gumoil photography.  The process creates an old-looking photo. 

 

 

Personal Reaction – (50 – 75 words):

I like the old looking pictures Koenig is able to create.  I do not like when he leaves bits of color.
