Dye transfer
Medium: Dye Transfer
Process Description – (50-75 words):
Is a process to make colored pictures using black and white film. The process was done using a stationary camera and using black and white negatives and three different colored filters- red, green and blue. These negatives were exposed on sheets of Matrix film composed of a gelatin coating over an estar base. Each was then soaked in its filter color and the heavier coating absorbed the color, after this process each was lined up over a sheet of special paper, each was carefully rolled onto the surface creating a rich and deeply colored print.
