Title: Conceptual Water towers
Artist: Bernd and Hilla Becher

Artist's Biography –
Bernd and Hilla were a German couple that were best known for their photography of industrial buildings. Together, the Bechers went out with a large formant camera and photographed these buildings from a number of different angles, but always with a straightforward "objective" point of view. The images of structures with similar functions were then displayed side by side to invite viewers to compare their forms and designs. These structures included barns, water towers, storage silos, and warehouses.

Personal Reaction –
It's a very interesting way of doing photography and is kind of cool to look at all these different pictures right next to each other.  With them all being in black and white it makes it seem more dramatic but eerie at the same time since there are never any people in their photographs.
